2016 - The Year In Review, and looking forwards...

It has been an interesting year! A year when the people fought back against the established political elite. First there was Brexit, then Trump, and looking forward, hopefully good results in French & German elections.

The British people rose up against the tide of lies and deceit put forward by the British political establishment - principally, the latter's continual claptrap about immigration. They kept pretending they were doing something when they were clearly not - this came back to bite them in the a*se big time.

We're leaving the EU folks and then we are going to be able to control our borders and foreign policy, without interference from the EU. No more muslim terrorists, no syrian 'refugees', no more mosques.

As a consequence of Brexit, British politics will never be the same again. The Labour party is dead and will never recover. UKIP have imploded because they have always been a one trick pony - they will end up merging back into the Tory party. The British National Party have always stayed loyal to their principles and will ensure a hard Brexit is delivered.

In the US, Trump has been voted in as president. The mainstream and the establishment hate it. We think it is great because he will address some of the US long standing issues with immigration, industrial and foreign policy. Without the Brexit result I don't think this would have happened.

Away from elections, Syria has dominated the mainstream news but the truth has been hard to find. Mainstream media have made up some stories and put out misinformation which has led to major arguments between the West and Moscow. I know who i believe and it is not us! Britain accepted thousands of Syrian 'refugees' and they were 'dispersed' into England including many in the Nottingham area. Most of these were not 'refugees' but economic migrants and should not be here. Some of the so-called children looked at least mid-20s. This will not happen again.

The British National Party has had a good year. Our membership and donations are increasing and our political base is reforming with the demise of UKIP and Labour. Financially we are healthy and we no longer carry the old baggage.

Locally, we continue to be active in local issues, particularly ones that affect the indigenous majority and ones that involve loss of our culture and rights. Only last week a new mosque was granted permission in Sneinton Dale and we will be opposing it going forward.

Looking forward to 2017, French & German election results will hopefully see major gains for Front Nationale in France and AFP in Germany. Let's hope to see the end of Merkel and the end of the EU block as a whole.

The main priority in 2017 is to ensure a Hard Brexit by keeping the pressure on the government and MPs. We do need to leave the EU single market in order to free Britain from the EU's stranglehold.

Second Mosque in Sneinton Dale Granted Planning Permission

As predicted, Nottingham City Council have caved into their Muslim friends and granted planning permission for a second mosque in Sneinton Dale.

We'll be doing our best to obstruct this as much as we can and find out who is to pay for it.

Why do we need another mosque in Nottingham?

The Nottingham Post is reporting that another mosque could be built in Sneinton, on the site of a former vehicle repair garage.

Nottingham City Council officers will recommend plans for the building, in Sneinton Dale, to be approved at a planning committee meeting on Wednesday.

There is already a purpose-built mosque in Sneinton Dale - the Jamia Masjid Sultania - so why do we need another?

The total cost of the project is estimated to be around £2.3m, of which only £175,000 has been raised by the local community - is the rest coming out of council tax payers' pockets?

The building is described as a mosque and a community centre. A mosque is not a community centre. It is an exclusive meeting space for a particular sectarian group - community implies inclusion - Islam is definitely not inclusive.

It is the British National Party's policy to stop any more Mosques being built - this is clearly a mosque disguised as a community centre. It is time for Islam to integrate with the rest of community - another mosque is not the solution. Every other 'faith' manages it apart from Islam. We will oppose this as strongly as we can.

'ASIAN' MEANS MUSLIM 99% OF THE TIME

The politically correct term 'Asian' is used by the leftist UK media as a way to cast suspicion on a wider group of people and take some of the negative attention away from the group usually responsible for committing the crimes. Hate Crime Statistics

Hate crimes are the new vehicle for the Marxists, Zionists & Politically Cotrect to try and prevent the British people from preserving their rights, customs and culture.

After the Brexit many politically correct media sources have claimed that Hate Crimes have increased, particularly in areas which voted for Brexit.

Let's look at the facts.

Hate crime statistics are compiled from Police figures.

As a result of the pressure applied by politically correct interest groups, owing to the trauma from a hate crime, a victim is now not required to give his or her name for the incident to be recorded and included in the statistics.

It could not be easier to become a ‘hate crime’ statistic; simply call the police, tell them you’ve been shoulder barged, shouted at or looked at in displeasing way because of your race or religion (Christians & Whites need not apply!), and you are now the latest nameless victim of a hate crime. Simple!

This means that any group with dishonest intent, can encourage their people and communities to report an ‘incident’ to the police to massively falsify statistics.

It appears this political correct stupidity has been seized upon by Muslim interest groups which recognise a political advantage of playing the victim.

Modelled on the Community Security Trust (CST) for Jewish interests, TELL MAMA is a Muslim interest group set up, in part, by social entrepreneur Fiyaz Mughal OBE with a strong, entirely leftist agenda.

TELL MAMA encourages Muslims to report hate crimes.

“The organisation's statistics have been the subject of debate,” states Wikipedia.

In 2013, The Sunday Telegraph wrote that 57% of ‘hate crimes’ committed after the Islamist slaughter of Drummer Lee Rigby, were online ‘incidents’.

The horrific slaughter of Lee Rigby was recorded as a single hate crime statistic, the same as a brick through a window.

TELL MAMA reported The Daily Telegraph to the Press Complaints Commission which  throughout the complaint and found the article to be entirely accurate.

The fact is that, in Britain, and across the continent hate figures have soared.

It’s simply a sign of tumultuous times in Europe.

Last month Breitbart news reported the fact that while the vast majority of hate crimes were committed by the political left, police, politicians and the media chose to concentrate on the far fewer right-wing events.

In Britain, there has been a notable surge in left wing hate crimes, in part spurred on by left wing extremist, Jeremy Corbyn taking over the reigns of the Labour Party.

So criminally minded and hate driven are a sizeable section of Corbyn supporters, that even Labour MPs have been targeted.

The BNP was recently found to be a victim of several ’hate crimes’ too after leftist criminals vandalised property and daubed the letters at the scene in an attempt to incriminate supporters of the patriotic political party.

The problem for left-wing criminals who attempt these ‘black ops’ is that the BNP is the most monitored political party in the country, we can’t sneeze without the authorities taking note.

Had it been that case the BNP was genuinely at fault, the police would have wasted no time to charge BNP members - but no arrests have been made of the left-wing vandals, and the media have declined to correct their false reports.

The Independent was one such media outlet. It has it’s agenda and frames a narrative to fit.

So when you hear news of increases in hate crimes think of this - are these reported hate crimes or convictions resulting from hate crimes? It's no wonder the police are overrun trying to manage all these reported hate crimes - people who raise them should be charged with wasting police time unless there is a conviction.

Time for the BBC to be abolished

I'm fed up of their lies - the so-called 'British Broadcasting Corporation' has become the vehicle for the Zionists to spread their political correctness and cultural marxism on the British people - and us licence payers are paying 145 quid for the privilege!

After the Brexit & Trump votes, the BBC could not hide their displeasure at the results. For Brexit, they were more concerned about how the establishment had failed to deliver a remain vote. For Trump, all the post vote coverage focused on why the Democrats lost.

It is not just the news either. On so-called entertainment programs, such as Have I got News For You and The One Show, I'm fed up of celebrities peddling their left wing views, and sneering at the Brexit/Trump results. They should take notice of the will of the British and American peoples.

The make-up of the BBC does not reflect society. It is over-populated with minorities. I don't want my news to be delivered by some bloke who can barely speak English. Having so many queers on the TV is not good - what do I tell my children? - it's unnatural. I want normality and this isn't it.

Time to get your news elsewhere. Social media is a better option because it cannot be controlled so easily. On TV, RT is the best channel for unbiased news. On the radio, LBC is reasonably neutral (although the presenters love themselves!).

The BBC should be abolished as it is a waste of money. It no longer reflects the views of the British people. And another thing, why do we need a world service - of course, it is so the Zionists can try and corrupt the rest of the world!

Reasons to be cheerful - Brexit, Trump...

Things are looking up - first we had the Brexit vote, then we had the Trump victory in the US presidential elections. Looking forward we've got elections in France, Holland and Germany coming up next year and I foresee a strong nationalist performance in all three.

The squirming liberal zionist media hate it! The BBC and Channel 4 are still pedalling their leftie stories but we've seen through it - people are switching off in their droves. Time to abolish all public service broadcasters.

The people are fighting back against gloalisation and multi-culturalism, and what this means. We don't want movement of people, we don't want other languages and traditions - we want to keep our own and let them flourish.

The answer to falling birth rates is not to let in a load of immigrants to fill the void (are you listening Mrs. Merkel?) but to encourage people to have more children - keep the open spaces, make education cheap, reduce childcare costs etc.

Brexit & Constitutional Crisis

We've reached an impass - more than half of the British public voted for Britain to leave the EU, mainly to get control of our borders back and to control our own destiny.

Yet, our politicians and the Zionist establishment (including the Judges) want to put as many blockers in place to slow down the triggering of Article 50 so that a general election can be called before we are out of the EU and subsequently they can reverse the British public's decision.

Well I tell you now, we won't it happen. There will be uproar and massive protests if they try and do this - it will be the end for the existing political establishment - revolution will happen - a new constitution will required - this should include abolition of the House of Lords and a reduction of MPs by at least 50%.

To help get your local MP deselected if they were/are a remainiac - we are already pushing to get Anna Soubry deselected in Broxtowe. As far as I know, all of the Nottingham City seats are also Labour remainiac supporters so get them deselected - write to the constituency chairperson, start a petition etc.

Brexit WILL happen and we WILL leave the single market - we WILL get OUR country back.

BNP Day Of Action In Batley & Spen

Yesterday, some members of the local branch went up to Batley & Spen for the BNP day of action, in aid of Thursday's bi-election, and our candidate David Furness.

BNP Chairman Adam Walker and David Furness chatted and interviewed people in Cleckheaton and Heckmondwike whilst others handed out leaflets and put up placards.

The placards were strategically placed, many of them being just above Labour placards that had been erected previously. I think you'll agree ours are better and stand out against the Labour ones.

The response was fantastic from the locals. People were really positive and some were taking photos of the placards. Let's hope it turns into votes on Thursday.

There was a lot of interest from local and national media (Channel4, ITN etc) with at least 5 camera crews covering us in Cleckheaton and Heckmondwike.

What's Happened To Our National Game?

Once upon a time, not so long ago, football was a game of the people, enjoyed by millions - I'm afraid to say we are a long way from there now. Football in England has become a vehicle for financial greed by all except the people who really matter, the fans.

Until recently, the players, managers and owners of the football clubs were from our communities. Some used to travel in with the fans. There is no chance of that now because the players, managers and owners are earning so much they travel to and from games in luxury. No-one knows who they are most of the time - how can we associate with them especially when a high percentage of them are from foreign lands?

How we have allowed virtually all of the premier league clubs to be owned by foreign owners (some of them dodgy to say the least) is beyond me. The money that is being generated by the clubs is certainly not staying in England. Tighter controls should be brought to stop foreign ownership of football clubs - the clubs belong to the local communities not any single person.

The Premier League in England have signed a billion pound TV deal so why are ticket prices so high? A cap was brought in on away ticket prices but what about home ones? Clubs should be forced to make some tickets available at cheaper prices.

The latest revelations about managers which has lead to the sacking of Sam Allardyce as England manager comes as no surprise. There is so much money floating around at the top of English football, it's no wonder there is corruption going on - there needs to be much more clarity on transfers and the involvement of players agents in transfers.

I used to look up to our national game, I used to go to football league matches every Saturday, home and away but the state of things now, I can no longer afford to go. And why would I want to go any more? The players, managers and owners are not of my community and most of them are not of my origins. If I watch any football matches now, it is non-league where the old traditions are still alive - it's affordable, the players often pay to play and there is a sense of community.

What the hell are we doing? These boats full of migrants should not be rescued. Let the boats sink and let them drown. If they are rescued, they should be taken to where they came from and not helped to get across. Their boats should be destroyed.

Once one lot get across, it only encourages others - we need to close our borders now to everyone to give us breathing space to sort out border control out. I am in favour of erecting a series of lookout post and long range guns on the coast to take them out in the water. It could give our armed forces useful target practice! Speak English Or Get Out!

I'm fed up of hearing jibber-jabbering everywhere, especially in Nottingham. This is Britain so speak our languages or f**k off.

How much money do our councils and public services spend in translating documents into foreign languages so immigrants can understand it. You come to Britain, you speak English or f**k off. If you end up in a police cell and you don't understand, you are guilty and should be deported.

The business of this country is conducted in English so if you are an adult and you don't know English then you shouldn't be allowed into Britain. A fit and proper person test should include ability to speak the f**kin' language!

Why do we allow shops to have Polish (Prussian) or Arabic names? It should be stopped.

The Zionist scum go on about 'Multi-Cultureism' but without foreigners attempting to even speak English it's never going to work. It should become an offence to speak a foreign language in a public place in Britain.

The invasion of a church and the ‘beheading’ of a priest in France last Tuesday was arguably the most significant outrage committed in Europe since WW2.
It was also the latest in a series of murderous horror attacks by Islamists on European citizens.

It was an act of war and an attack that even the politicians couldn’t ignore or talk down.

We Will Not Accept Freedom Of Movement Of People

So Theresa May is our new unelected Prime Minister with another cabinet of Zionist Stooges. Depending who you speak to there are differing views on Brexit means, whether it be continued membership of the EU Single Market or not, and the Freedom of Movement of people or not.

There is talk of a freedom of movement of people for the commonwealth countries - Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc.

One thing is clear - the British people will NOT accept the Freedom of Movement of People, from any country - that's why we voted for Brexit.

The latest attack in Nice by the 'Religion of Peace' shows why Freedom of Movement must be stopped and repatriation of Islamic Scum must start immediately. As usual, the Zionist stooges fail to link Freedom of Movement with the influx of the Islamists and that is why they will ultimately fail.

We Must Keep Pressuring The Politicians To Deliver Our Brexit

After the historic Brexit vote, we must keep the pressure on the politicians to deliver what the British people voted for.

The British people voted to restrict the free movement of people into Britain NOT to keep the status quo. If this means leaving the single market then so be it - we don't need it - other countries are queuing up to trade with us - they need us more than we need them.

We need to start repealing the European laws and re-establishing our own. What has the European law of human rights ever done for us? Get back to Magna Carta.

The main political parties still don't get it do they. The Tories & Labour will soon have new leaders but nothing will change - it will be the same old zionist stooges pushing the same old policies. The British people won't have it anymore - Labour will be wiped out at the next election (and hopefully forever).

What we need is a BNP government to ensure the British people's brexit vote is implemented properly with proper nationalist socialist policies. We need to ensure that Islam does not intrude into Britain any further and that we look after the White Anglo-Saxon majority.

We Did It ... But The Fight Needs To Go On

Well the voting is over and the British people have showed great courage in voting to leave the European Union. Thank you to everyone for voting leave and to everyone who helped spread the message and get the vote out.

The recriminations have already begun by the establishment and we must keep on fighting to ensure Brexit happens and that we get a good deal for the British people out of it. Trade deals will need to be sorted out with other countries and the EU to protect the country financially, and to protect the jobs within it.

The economy will take a hit in the short term due to the uncertainty, but over the long term we expect things to rebound as trade deals are sorted out and EU laws are replaced by our own. There will some companies who decide to move some parts of their organisations out of the UK but we think this will provide opportunities for British companies to grow.

The process of leaving the EU needs to start as soon as possible otherwise there is risk in it not happening due to some legal loophole. It cannot wait for a new Tory leader to be put in place, and it cannot wait until after the summer recess.

The British vote looks like it might trigger referendums in other countries like France and the Netherlands so the future for the European Union looks uncertain. It needs to be disbanded so each country can manage their own interests.

The establishment still don't get it - this historic vote happened because they have lost touch with the British people - they mix in their own social circles and never talk to real people to find out their views. When people express their views on immigration or immigrants they get called racists but these are real concerns and they should not be ignored. BBC's Anti White stance confirmed

The BBC has been slammed for institutional racism after its recruitment policy was exposed for barring white people from applying for jobs.

A report in The Sun newspaper, revealed that the BBC is running four recruitment schemes open only to black, Asian or ethnic minorities.

Aware of the illegality of such racial discrimination, the BBC has described the positions as ‘trainee schemes’ to get round employment legislation.

Despite being a publicly funded body with a duty to remain impartial, the BBC has long been denounced for its left wing bias, pro-EU leanings and anti-white agenda.

The report is the latest scandal to hit the rotten BBC which was revealed for operating a culture of paedophilia and sex attacks with the BBC’s serial child rapist Jimmy Saville at the centre of the horrifying revelations.

As with all the major current issues, the BNP has slammed the BBC’s anti-white agenda for years, now the mainstream media is beginning to catch up and recognise that the BNP was right all along.

Voting Brexit Is A No Brainer

Hope you're ready to give Camoron & Co a very bloody nose on June 23rd by voting Out. There are many lies being put about, particularly by the in campaign, so I thought I would specify some truths.

1. Democracy - Camoron claims that the UK has pushed back on lots of EU stuff but if you look through the votes, we haven't managed to stop anything since 1996!!!

2. Cost - it costs us 15 billion quid a year to be in the EU each year. That's about 4p off income tax for everyone if we vote out. Camoron claims that we get this back in other ways - some it does come back but it does not go to you or I but to councils, businesses and worst of all, unelected quangos.

3. Jobs - lots of scaremongering from Camoron and co about the effect of jobs. Only 5% of British businesses do any business with the EU at all so how can it be that bad!

4. Immigration - the latest net migration says 336K came in last month but we know at least 100K more NI Numbers were generated in that period - I wonder which one is more correct?

News Round Up - Brexit, BBC...

Lies, Lies, Lies - I cannot believe the amount of lies coming from the government and their cronies, who are trying to brainwash into thinking staying in the EU is a good thing. The latest inaccuracy are the net migration figures. Apparently there was only an increase of 220K last year yet 420K new NI numbers were issued - I wonder which one is right?

The only way to do anything about this is to vote for EU Exit otherwise the government will get their way and nothing will change.

The Bank of England & International Monetary Fund both think the EU exit will harm the British economy. What do they know? - they are guessing as much as anyone else. How can their heads, one a canadian, and one a french woman, care one bit about what happens to Britain? I think after the EU vote the economy will get a boost regardless of whether we stay in or not.

Crime commissioner elections - what a waste of time and money! The turnout was only 20%ish - a great vindication of the position - it is time to scrap this extra layer of bureaucracy and return these powers to the councils. Can anyone name a single thing that Paddy Tipping has achieved since this position existed?

The Biased Broadcasting Corporation never ceases to amaze me. The amount of stories promoting ethnic diversity at the expense of the average common man/woman is ridiculous. This organisation should be scaled down and sold off. The UK population's dependency on TV has got ridiculous and we should scale it down to force people to do things in the community instead. Enriching Nottingham 'barrister', Omar Khan, jailed for peddling cocaine to undercover police

The arrest of Omar Khan, who 'worked' for Nottingham's The Johnson Partnership, came as police busted a drugs ring in the city. Nearly two kilos of high-strength cocaine was seized. He was sentenced to 3 years in jail.

Co-accused Nazaquat Ali, who provided a safe house for the cocaine at a house in Chard Street, New Basford, was jailed for five years today.

Albert Dibra, 38, of Joyce Avenue, Sherwood, said to have had a leading role in the enterprise, was sent to prison for seven-and-a-half years.

Nottingham Crown Court heard he had established the safe house and taken delivery of a quantity of cocaine.

Drugs courier Erlin Manahasa, 28, of no fixed address, was locked up for four-half years for delivering the cocaine.

All four men admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine between October 1 and December 1 last year.

The court was told they were involved in a significant conspiracy to supply the drug in the Nottingham area.

Dibra was operating a phone line contacted by undercover police. He contacted his friend, Khan, who met the officers with cocaine.

Sentencing the defendants, Judge Michael Stokes QC said: "You four defendants were involved, to a greater or lesser degree, in a serious conspiracy to supply cocaine in this city.

"It is clear, on the evidence, that on at least two occasions significant quantities of that drug with a high content uncut were delivered, seemingly from the south of England into Nottingham.

"The police, who have done an excellent job in this case, observed and waited until the second delivery to restock arrived and then they swooped and found 1.3 kilos of cocaine of an 88 percent purity. The fact that restocking took place at the point that it did is an indication of the nature and extent of the conspiracy."

He told Khan, who has lost his job and career as a result of the charge, his case in many respects was a tragedy.

Adrian Langdale said, in mitigation, his client had taken cocaine recreationally and got into debt. He was involved in one or two deals in November and they were isolated incidents.

Describing the case as an absolute tragedy, he added that Khan was a man who had fallen from the greatest height possible and he was acutely embarrassed and ashamed.

Digby Johnson, a partner in the Long Row business, told the Nottm Post, after Khan pleaded guilty last month, of his betrayal.

"I feel, in a sense, I've been done over, really," he said.

"It is a very salutary reminder for anyone involved in the law that a fall from grace can be a very catastrophic thing to happen. He was someone you thought you knew reasonably well. But you had someone there who has something going on that you did not know about – something that was so devastating."

Mr Johnson recalled: "Omar would talk about the ventures he had. There was nothing that would lead you to think he would have been involved in anything illegal."

Khan, 31, of William Street, Huddersfield, initially worked in the law firm's call centre.

According to the Law Society, he was admitted as a solicitor in 2012. Mr Johnson said Khan qualified as a barrister in November but continued as a solicitor in the magistrates' courts.

He did a phenomenal number of hours," he said. "He was really hard-working and keen to impress."

There had been no mention of drugs, said Mr Johnson, let alone any involvement in them.

"I'd rather be talking about him having made a flying start in Huddersfield, not about this."

Rapist Taxi driver, Shapoor Azimi, jailed for 15 years.

A jury found Shapoor Azimi guilty of attacking a 22-year-old student in the back of his cab after picking her up in Nottingham city centre.

And sentencing the 37-year-old cabbie, Judge Timothy Spencer raised concerns over how he was allowed to work on the streets of Nottingham - after he had been in trouble twice before for kerb-crawling, in 2011 and 2006.
After the hearing, a Nottingham City Council spokesman said his previous caution and conviction for kerb-crawling should have been spotted and an investigation had been launched.
The married defendant, an asylum seeker from Afghanistan, picked up his victim in the city after a night out and raped her in the back seat of his private-hire car in Sneinton.
He faced two rape charges concerning the same incident, but the jury cleared him of the first allegation and convicted him on the second on Monday.
Azimi, of Chadwick Road, had denied both allegations, claiming the victim had sexually assaulted him.

Judge Spencer told Azimi, who had his head bowed in the dock, that he had brought depravation on his family and himself.
"On that night, on October 17, you were working as a taxi driver in this city," he said. "You were, in my judgement, preying on young women. One of whom was the victim.
"You, in my judgement, were a chancer. You spotted your chance. She filled at least some of your desires.
"In particular she was clearly in a state of disorientation through alcohol and you decided, in my judgement, that she was prey for your sexual desires. Somewhere in that journey you decided rather than take her home, as your duty and obligation was to do, you were going to stop and take advantage of her."

A manager at the company where Azimi worked had given a statement to the prosecution that said all drivers were checked by taxi licensing.
"As a business we don't get directly involved in those checks," it read. "We get updated on the results."
However, prosecutor Gordon Aspden told the judge it appeared those checks had not been carried out in this case.
Judge Spencer said: "I know not if he was checked by taxi licensing, whether he withheld his relevant conviction or caution from taxi licensing, or whether they checked independently against records that must have been available to them.
"That conviction and caution reveal a situation where this man was wholly unsuitable to be driving a taxi anywhere and certainly within this city. It seems to me if the authority did carry out any checks they need to look carefully at the system and go to independent records, which I assume are available to them by going to the police."
A City Council spokesman said: "This driver applied for a licence with us in 2008. His earlier caution and conviction undoubtedly should have been spotted in our background checks and acted on and we are very sorry that this didn't happen.
"If we were presented with the same situation today, our procedures have improved sufficiently for us to be confident that he would be identified as a person who was not fit and proper to be a taxi driver, and so not given a licence. Our priority is to protect the public.
"We now demand higher standards of drivers and if there is the slightest doubt about a person's suitability, we err on the side of caution and don't issue a licence. "We now carry out DBS checks every year rather than every three and our licensing team is now co-located with the police licensing team where intelligence sharing and closer working will allow issues like this to be identified and acted on."

Third individual, Shomsu Miah, aged 44, jailed in Nottingham slavery case

A third person has been jailed following the first case to be tried in the East Midlands under new Modern Slavery Act legislation.

Shomsu Miah, aged 44, of Russell Street, Forest Fields, had previously admitted being one of three people to force a Hungarian woman into prostitution while she was kept against her will at properties in Nottingham in August and September last year. 

Hungarian nationals Istvan Vinter, 57, and Maria Gaspar, 23, were jailed for eight and six years respectively at Nottingham Crown Court last month.

Appearing at the same court today (Friday 8 April), Miah was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison.

The woman, and another who had been sold for a sham marriage in London, had been trafficked to the UK by Vinter and Gaspar, who had promised them work in a hotel.

Once in the UK, the women, who did not speak English, were then ‘sold’ to buyers or made to work as prostitutes, Miah assisted by facilitating accommodation in Nottingham and working with Vinter and Gaspar in attempting to sell one of the victims in a sham marriage. Miah had previously travelled to Hungary to meet Vinter and Gaspar before the trafficking into the UK took place.

The victim in Nottingham was forced to have sex with men and had her identity documents taken from her so she could not flee.

She was also offered for marriage to one man and even taken to a nightclub where she was offered for sex to another.

Nottinghamshire Police found her on 17 September at a property in Woodborough Road. Detectives also travelled to Hungary to interview the other victim, who had managed to escape and return home. 

Miah, Vinter and Gaspar were charged with conspiracy to arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to their exploitation under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration to a member state.

Detective Inspector Justine Wilson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Individuals such as Miah are providing a market for the traffickers in the UK, and are prepared to take advantage their victims’ vulnerability by holding them against their well or profiting from them by forcing them into sexual exploitation.

"While Vinter and Gaspar were the ones to traffick the woman into the country, the fact that Miah had previously met them and then colluded with them to carry out this appalling deception was damning in the eyes of the court.

"Hopefully, these sentences, totalling more than 16 years will send out a message to traffickers and to those UK nationals who facilitate this trade that the police and the courts will stop at nothing to ensure these crimes are properly and effectively dealt with through the criminal justice system."

DI Wilson said: "Once again, I would like to praise the courage of the victims in this case who have been through an utterly horrible ordeal and yet returned to the UK to give evidence against those that had exploited them. I would also like to recognise and praise the investigating officers in this case for their care and professional dedication in supporting the victims and witnesses."

Nottingham City Council wrongly fined driver and towed car - and it could have happened to many more

Thirteen motorists were fined a total of £1,400 for parking on Robin Hood Street, and nine returned to find their vehicles had vanished. Nottingham City Council put temporary 'no parking' signs onto the street, next to Victoria Park, and towed away cars to make way for maintenance and line painting. But insurance broker Richard Turton (pictured), who was one of the drivers penalised, appealed against his fine and, following a five-month battle, independent adjudicator the Traffic Penalty Tribunal ruled the signs had been wrongly used by the council.
 However he was the only motorist refunded. The council said it had no obligation to notify drivers if they could successfully appeal and insisted that the signs were approved by the Department for Transport. Mr Turton, 55, said: "On that day, last June, it was chucking it down and I parked next to Victoria Park. "I went to collect my car at 5.30pm and it was gone. 
At first I questioned if I was in the correct place but then I thought it had been stolen. When I parked up I did not see any restrictions." On the same day nine cars were towed away – with a £140 recovery cost for the owners – and four were given on-street fines of £35 each. Mr Turton found his car in the city pound around the corner. 
 He said: "I appealed against it but the council rejected it and we went back and forth several times and in the end I went back to the independent tribunal and they supported me. "I laugh about it now but I could have cried at the time. "I did say to the council that they should let the other motorists know but they told me it wasn't their responsibility and they were under no obligation to do so. "I am happy with my outcome but want others to know they can get their money back. It is a shame the council did not spot their error and tell people." 

 The authority was ordered to refund Mr Turton by the Traffic Penalty Tribunal. Adjudicator Gillian Ekins said: "I find that there is no evidence that the restriction or prohibition was required to come into force without delay. "On the contrary, the works were described as maintenance. "I find that council were wrong to seek to implement the prohibition of stopping by way of a Notice pursuant to section 14 (2). "It is only in the case of an emergency that a temporary Traffic Regulation Notice can be issued. "There is certainly no evidence produced by the council to indicate the situation was an emergency. "I find that even if the council was entitled to implement such notice, it would not have applied to the location where this vehicle was parked because it was not in a no waiting or limited waiting restriction. "It is undoubtedly distressing for a motorist to return to where they had parked their vehicle and to find it is not there. In this case, Mr Turton should not have been put through that ordeal." 
 A spokesman from Nottingham City Council said that the authority "did not accept" the adjudicator's ruling but was not going to contest it. He said 18 signs went up at 11.30am on June 1 and were removed at 9.30am on June 3. 
Work was carried out on June 2 to provide new signs and lines for a residents' parking scheme for the Stonebridge area. "We don't accept that the wrong signage was used," he said. "The 'No Stopping' sign is Department for Transport approved and is clearer to motorists than No Waiting or No Loading signs which we used to use for temporary restrictions like this. "While we don't agree with the adjudicator's decision, we are not challenging it and accordingly refunded the fine in this case." 
 He added: "It does not necessarily follow that an adjudicator would rule in the same way if other motorists fined at that time appealed, since the details, such as how long and where they were parked, may be different and would be judged on their own merits. "The other drivers chose to pay the fine given the circumstances relevant to them. "It's for motorists to decide whether to pay or appeal a fine. Only one motorist appealed in this instance."

Opinions from 'the people' ...

There have probably been thousands of illegal fines given for parking. Councils break their own rules daily and wardens lie in their teeth just to get one over on the motorist. It appears to be a game to many.

 I recently appealed a fine on Cliff Road that was given in confusing circumstances ... so confusing it confused me despite the fact I live in the road! It catches MANY people each day and must be a traffic wardens Birthday getting assigned the road! The council did drop the fine (I think because it's clear how confusing the parking lines are and a tribunal would agree), but they certainly made sure they covered their backsides in the reply letter and made it clear I was in the wrong (despite canceling the ticket on the grounds they knew I could probably win an appeal). It's their attitude then that's the problem.

 It's absolutely outrageous and a total scandal that the city council is not legally obliged to notify people that they have illegally extorted money from them, and compensate them immediately. It demonstrates once again who makes the laws in this country, and for whose benefit those laws are made (clue: it isn't you or me)

 Well done Mr Turton. You have proved yet again that there are those at Loxley House that are far happier administering their version of the Law than following correct procedures themselves. It is all down to one of the oldest lusts of all . . .POWER!

Typical attitude from the council, always refusing to believe they can do anything wrong. You've been proven wrong by an independent adjudicator yet you still don't accept it. How about having some humility, admit you got it wrong and apologise to those people who have been inconvenienced?

 Police want to speak to the man pictured in connection with an assault which took place on a Nottingham bus. 

 The incident happened on a Nottingham City Transport bus on Wednesday, March 2. 

The offence is alleged to have taken place while the vehicle was parked in Lower Parliament Street.
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 171 of 2 March 2016.

Nottingham school at centre of child sexting claims

The Times newspaper has published data distributed under freedom of information laws that suggests illegal "sexting" was going on at The Nottingham Academy.

The newspaper said statistics from more than 50 of Britain's biggest secondary schools showed that more than a third of all sexting cases involved children aged 12 and 13, with tens of thousands of schoolchildren caught sharing sexual imagery online in the last three years.

Sexting means people sharing indecent images via a mobile phone or uploading them on a social networking site.

The Times highlighted suspected cases at schools nationally, including at The Nottingham Academy.

The Times claims figures identified "possible gang grooming" as a motive for one sexting case at the school, which has sites in Greenwood Road and Sneinton Dale, Sneinton and Ransom Drive in Mapperley, and also claims another minor was caught sending "inappropriate images" to a member of staff.

The Times says it asked 50 schools for details of sexting cases since 2012 and the national results received showed 1,218 pupils had either sent or received a sext. It adds that more than one in 10 national cases involved a "non-school adult".

Susi Artis, assistant secretary of Nottingham City National Union of Teachers (NUT), said: "Teachers would obviously be very concerned about that. I would hope the Academy would respond appropriately and deal with it - it's not something you want to see in schools, it's horrible."

She added that it was tough to balance a need to have mobile phones in schools as youngsters may need to contact parents, to say they are staying behind after school, for instance, but pupils need to be using their phones responsibly.

In the Times' piece, Maria Miller, former culture secretary who chairs the women and equalities select committee, called for compulsory sex education to tackle the "appalling" effect sexting was having on girls and boys.

But Ms Artis said: "I think schools do do sex education and they revise the curriculum all the time as things develop and evolve. I think schools do a brilliant job. I don't really think Maria Miller knows what's going on in schools if she is saying that.

"All these issues are dealt with in PSHE (Personal and Social and Health Education)."

The National Crime Agency said last year that sexting is now the norm among teenagers.

A campaign was launched to deal with an increase in the number of cases of children sharing sexually explicit images and videos, and to give advice to concerned parents.

In 2014, Nottinghamshire Police said the force was sending letters to all schools in the city and county, saying it has "grave concerns" about "sexting".

There is no doubt that the increase in Muslims in this country has made this worse due to their incessant love of kiddy fiddling. Vote BNP to put a stop to this - we are the only politically party with the balls to stop the Muslim invasion.

Derbyshire Police compare BNP & EDL to ISIS

Sergeant John Brooker from Derbyshire Police told Peak FM that home-grown right-wing radicals pose “just as much of a real threat” as those operating overseas, and vowed to treat them the same.

The sergeant added that the BNP and the EDL operated in the same way as terrorist groups, by dividing society and forcing people against one another. He also said right-wing groups could radicalize vulnerable people and drive them commit violent acts.

“The biggest threat is very much centered on Syria and Iraq based on groups such as Islamic State, however, we certainly can’t ignore the right-wing issues and the far-right issues that do exist in our communities, and are just as much of a real threat in terms of community division, hatred and deplorable acts as anything else.” he said.

What a load of B*llocks!

The BNP don't advocate wars in the Middle East or anywhere else (unlike ISIS) - we are more concerned with protecting our own country and traditions which are gradually being eroded away by the spineless establishment.

The BNP believe in democracy (unlike ISIS) - that is why we fight elections and go through proper political channels.

Why are the police getting involved in party politics? Shouldn't they be neutral rather being the establishment puppets that they have become?

I see no other officers have backed up Sergeant Brooker's comments - I wonder why?
