Matlock Chinese restaurant, China Rose is "filthy beyond words"

A CHINESE restaurant in Matlock Bath with a zero star food hygiene rating has been branded as “disgustingly unclean” by unhappy customers.

The China Rose Restaurant and Takeaway in Matlock Bath has been slammed online for being “filthy beyond words”.

It was given a zero star hygiene rating by officials on December 2, 2014.

Reviewer Barlow, K, took to Trip Advisor to give her opinion of the business after he and his partner visited while attending the Matlock Illuminations.

She wrote: “Our food arrived, it tasted OK but was a ridiculously small amount of meat.

“I ordered chicken chow mein and there were four pieces of chicken about the size of a 10p coin.”

“We paid for our meal at the bar before leaving, noticing the fact I don’t think they have a cleaner recruited as behind the bar was a dirty floor, wet stale cloths on the floor, old bottles of coke in boxes.

“Overall, the place is absolutely filthy beyond words.

“They need to replace their cotton napkins too as these were stained and old.

“The food tasted OK but there was hardly any meat portions. Our service was fast but the atmosphere was terrible.

“Do not go here. Gordon Ramsey seriously needs to include this restaurant in his TV series.”

And Trip Advisor user Bough,F also only had negative comments to say about the establishment.

They wrote on the site: “The plates were filthy underneath, the food was cold, the food was not well cooked and the bottle of Perrier ordered was not served.”

And Tripadvisor user West,F added on their experience at the restaurant: “We were aware of other customers having problems with their orders.

“It got to a point where customers were openly laughing with one another at the horrendous service, people came and went shaking their heads in disbelief.

“It was completely Fawlty Towersesque!”

Several local pets have also gone missing but instead of investigating the police are having a lie-in.

Nottingham Muslim leader wrongly says A453 should not be renamed after fallen British soldiers

An imam in Nottingham believes it would be wrong to rename the A453 in honour of soldiers who died in the Afghanistan war.

Dr Musharraf Hussain, chief executive and chief imam at the Karimia Institute in Bobbersmill, said the conflict was not “just” and should not be associated with the road, which historically linked Nottingham and Birmingham.

A campaign has been launched by the Upton family – whose son Sean Upton was killed in Afghanistan in 2009 – to rename it as a tribute to the 453 servicemen and women who died.

The road is currently being widened between Nottingham and the M1 north of Kegworth, with the £150 million project due to be completed later this year.

Dr Hussain told his mates BBC Nottinghamshire: "We have a huge respect and love for our Armed Forces.

“This war wasn’t a just war.

“When you look at it from that angle it’s not a good idea to involve our soldiers and Armed Forces and to name such an important corridor linking with other cities.

“I don’t think it’s a wise move.”

The road now runs from Clifton to the M1, and then picks up again from Tamworth to Sutton Coldfield.

Warrant Officer Upton was on foot patrol in Afghanistan on July 27, 2009 when he was hit by a rocket propelled grenade. He was 35.

His dad John Upton and Peter Cheetham-Jones, his dad’s cousin, wrote to the Highways Agency to suggest the name change.

Ideas have included Heroes Way, Helmand Way and Bastion Way.

Mr Upton, of Beech Avenue, Beeston Rylands, previously told the Post: “Obviously it would mean a lot to me for the road to be renamed because of losing Sean out there.

“It’s not just for Sean. I feel it would be appropriate for all the people who lost their lives in Afghanistan.”

Rushcliffe Borough Council, Nottingham City Council and North West Leicestershire District Council all support the idea and a public consultation is currently being held.

The survey will close on Friday, January 30.

Police Hunt for These 2 Ugly Eastern European Women Afterr Theft In Hucknall

Police have released a CCTV image of two women (blimey - ed!) they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a purse from a shopper in Hucknall.

The incident happened on Friday, January 16 at Fulton's Foods in High Street when the woman was approached by two others who spoke with Eastern European accents. She later discovered her purse was missing.

The pictured women could help officers with their enquiries. Both are white, of a large build, with one older than the other. One has dark brown hair in a bun and the other has dark hair tied back in a ponytail. Both are thought to be former shot-putters.

Bogdan Nawrocki murder trial: 'Body was wheeled away on a trolley and buried' by Radford man, court told

Robert Marcinkiewicz-Szukowski is the only person on trial for the murder of Bogdan Nawrocki, whose body has never been found.

The defendant allegedly confessed to another Pole that the body was wheeled away on a trolley and buried, Nottingham Crown Court heard yesterday.

It is claimed that he told another acquaintance “we killed the missing person” and “no one would ever find the body”.

William Harbage QC, prosecuting, said: “The prosecution say that a young man called Bogdan Nawrocki was assaulted and killed by the defendant, together with others in the front room of the defendant’s house. 'The body was taken away and concealed and it has never been found. “The deceased man, Bogdan Nawrocki, was a Polish immigrant to this country.

 Mr Nawrocki disappeared off the face of the Earth on January 5 last year. And he has not been seen since.” Police initially treated the case as a missing person inquiry. That changed in April last year following information that 22-year-old Mr Nawrocki had been killed.

 Forensic investigators searched Mr Nawrocki’s last known address in Osborne Street, Radford, also the home of the defendant, and found extensive bloodstains and blood-spattering on the living room floor, skirting board, walls and ceiling. “DNA analysis shows the blood was Bogdan Nawrocki’s, and from the extent and nature of the blood-spattering, it’s apparent Mr Nawrocki was violently attacked in the front living room of Osborne Street,” said Mr Harbage.

Asian/East European Women wanted after £7,000 theft from pensioner at pet store in Arnold

Police have released CCTV images of these two women after the theft of £7,000 from an elderly woman in Arnold. 

The women were believed to be in HSBC in Arnold at the same time as the victim, who drove to Kennelgate Pet Superstore, Mapperley Plains, at 1.15pm on December 17.

The police want to speak to the pair in connection with the incident. They believe they followed in a taxi and tried to speak to the victim, before the theft. 

They are both aged 20-30 and possibly Asian or central European. One wore a light bobble hat and matching scarf and had a large shoulder bag. 

The other wore a dark hat, black-and-white shawl and a large bag in the bank. She later changed to a grey hat and with black and white checked trim. She was not  wearing the shawl in the Kennelgate car park. 

Call police on 101 with information - hopefully they might get out of bed and investigate

Review of 2014 - Part 3 - The Rise and Fall of UKIP and the BNP

The rise of UKIP has been surprising to say the least - it mirrors the rise of the BNP in the pre 2005 euro election period. However, there is one major difference - the BNP have not changed it's colours once power has been within reach.

UKIP's early success was due to the public not quite being bold enough to vote BNP - UKIP was a safer option - showing dis-satisfaction at the main marxist parties but not quite going for the proper option to show dis-satisfaction with the way the country is going.

Nigel Farage paints himself as a man of the people but underneath he is just a tory who used to work in the city. He pretends to be anti establishment but because of his background, how can he be - see the picture which is real.

The plan of course, fuelled by the media. is to force UKIP to water down their anti EU and immigration policies - this is already happening - they will eventually become just another tory party.

This is why you should stick with the BNP - we haven't changed our policies on the EU and immigration - nor should we. We are the only party standing up for the rights of the indigenous Britains. The BNP are good at local politics - we believe in getting activists involved in communities because we know that the rights of the British are being ignored by the authorities. We raised the muslim child abuse issues in Rotherham as far back as 2004. You won't get this from UKIP.

I expect UKIP to do well in the 2015 election and secure some more seats but they won't have any power. They will subsequently lose these seats as the public see through their rhetoric  - nothing will actually be done on leaving the EU and Immigration. That is why you should vote BNP to save the country before it is overrun by Immigrants.

Review of 2014 - Part 2 - Islamification of Britain

The  Islamification of Britain is getting worse every day. Gradually sharia law is being introduced into Britain by the marxist politicians. Halal products are being introduced by the back door to an unassuming public - this has to stop.

Only recently a school in Nottingham changed it's menu to be all halal without consulting parents. Why should non muslims be forced to eat ritually slaughtered meat?

Everything is becoming so politically correct that any constructive criticism of Islam is being condemned as being racist. This is the time to point out that Islam is NOT a race but a cult.

There seems to be a general crackdown on things that are non muslim such as alcohol. The latest step is for Nottingham City Council to start charging pubs that open after midnight - the disguise for this is apparently police costs.

We are allowing radical muslims to do whatever they want in this country and it has led to a much higher terrorism threat, increased child abuse cases and idiots going to abroad to fight against our country.

It is time Britain and Europe banned all further Muslim immigration, legal or illegal. Those needing to come for work purposes can be issued temporary visas.

It is time to ban all any future Muslim asylum seeking also and stem the Mosque building programme in action across Britain. 

It is time to end any public funding of Islamic faith schools and ban foreign donations to build Islamic schools and Mosques in this country and Europe.
