Fracking is not the solution to our energy needs

The BNP is firmly opposed to onshore gas fracking – the controversial technology which uses a cocktail of water, sand and poisonous chemicals to break up shale rocks so that gas can be extracted.

We, in Nottinghamshire, should very weary of fracking, as tests have proven that Nottinghamshire is full of shale rocks, especially in the former mining areas.

All the propaganda about how fracking is moving the USA towards ‘energy self-sufficiency’ is (deliberately) missing the key points:

Although fracking produces a lot of US gas, very few of the companies doing it actually make money. It’s a very inefficient and expensive process. But rosy claims about the industry’s potential keep small investors and pension funds alike pouring money into fracking companies. It’s like the dot.com bubble, there is far more money in the speculation than in what is actually produced.
Fracked gas wells go into rapid decline after only about a year of production. To keep the gas flowing in the USA, they are drilling thousands of new wells every year. It’s short-termism at its very worst. Even in thinly-populated America, the vast amounts of traffic, pollution and the industrialisation of the landscape provoke fierce local resistance. In heavily populated Britain, there is not the faintest possibility of production on anything like the scale in the USA.

Fracking supporters (invariably energy companies, banks or greedy politicians on the take) claim that the technology is ‘safe’. But, in the real world, steel well linings corrode and concrete rots. The test borehole near Blackpool was fractured by the earthquake it caused and has had to be abandoned.
When a disused, capped well fails, the pressure from the remaining gas is liable to force a cocktail of poisonous chemicals and even radioactive water from the pipe and into the groundwater that we use for drinking, livestock and irrigating crops.

“It’s because of the long-term risks that the BNP speaks out against fracking at every opportunity,” says BNP’s Clive Jefferson.

“Fracking is a poisoned short-term sticking plaster which would be disastrous for future generations, house prices and local communities across vast swathes of our Green and Pleasant Land.

“We need real, high-density energy sources to keep our lights on for good. Britain could be a world leader in ultra-safe, technologies such as thorium and deep wave power, securing safe, affordable energy and thousands of well-paid new manufacturing jobs.”

Abolish The BBC

Time for the BBC to be abolished and the license fee money to be spent on helping the needy.

The constant drole of anti-Trump stuff coming out at the moment is just pathetic. He has done more in his first few days then the previous incumbent did in his entire 8 years. Trump has removed a load of climate change regulations and signed a number of construction contracts within America. Jobs will be created and the Ameerican economy will get moving again.

Some BBC journalist asked Trump a question claiming that she was representing the views of most of the British people. Ha ha! Most of the British people do not share the globalist zionist views of the majority of the mainstream media, especially the BBC.

It is one of the BNP's policies to abolish the BBC and investigate the high salaries currently paid to their 'stars'.

Time To Protect Our Football Clubs From Foreign Ownership

It's time to protect our football clubs from foreign ownership. Why do we allow it? Seems to me to be a vehicle for money laundering in some cases.

Football clubs should be classified as community assets not businesses. Clubs are for the fans and should be protected as such. For many fans going to the football is a way of life and it must continue onwards.

These foreign owners don't understand this. Foreign owners have led to them appointing foreign managers and buying foreign players - this is no good for the british players and managers who should be given priority. England will never win the world cup again.

What has happened this season at clubs like Forest and Birmingham is a joke and it must be stopped.

2016 - The Year In Review, and looking forwards...

It has been an interesting year! A year when the people fought back against the established political elite. First there was Brexit, then Trump, and looking forward, hopefully good results in French & German elections.

The British people rose up against the tide of lies and deceit put forward by the British political establishment - principally, the latter's continual claptrap about immigration. They kept pretending they were doing something when they were clearly not - this came back to bite them in the a*se big time.

We're leaving the EU folks and then we are going to be able to control our borders and foreign policy, without interference from the EU. No more muslim terrorists, no syrian 'refugees', no more mosques.

As a consequence of Brexit, British politics will never be the same again. The Labour party is dead and will never recover. UKIP have imploded because they have always been a one trick pony - they will end up merging back into the Tory party. The British National Party have always stayed loyal to their principles and will ensure a hard Brexit is delivered.

In the US, Trump has been voted in as president. The mainstream and the establishment hate it. We think it is great because he will address some of the US long standing issues with immigration, industrial and foreign policy. Without the Brexit result I don't think this would have happened.

Away from elections, Syria has dominated the mainstream news but the truth has been hard to find. Mainstream media have made up some stories and put out misinformation which has led to major arguments between the West and Moscow. I know who i believe and it is not us! Britain accepted thousands of Syrian 'refugees' and they were 'dispersed' into England including many in the Nottingham area. Most of these were not 'refugees' but economic migrants and should not be here. Some of the so-called children looked at least mid-20s. This will not happen again.

The British National Party has had a good year. Our membership and donations are increasing and our political base is reforming with the demise of UKIP and Labour. Financially we are healthy and we no longer carry the old baggage.

Locally, we continue to be active in local issues, particularly ones that affect the indigenous majority and ones that involve loss of our culture and rights. Only last week a new mosque was granted permission in Sneinton Dale and we will be opposing it going forward.

Looking forward to 2017, French & German election results will hopefully see major gains for Front Nationale in France and AFP in Germany. Let's hope to see the end of Merkel and the end of the EU block as a whole.

The main priority in 2017 is to ensure a Hard Brexit by keeping the pressure on the government and MPs. We do need to leave the EU single market in order to free Britain from the EU's stranglehold.

Second Mosque in Sneinton Dale Granted Planning Permission

As predicted, Nottingham City Council have caved into their Muslim friends and granted planning permission for a second mosque in Sneinton Dale.

We'll be doing our best to obstruct this as much as we can and find out who is to pay for it.
