The suspects, aged 23 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and bailed pending further enquiries.
A 16-year-old was found injured in Alfreton Road, Radford, at just after 6.30pm on Saturday (2 August 2014).
He was taken to Nottingham’s Queen's Medical Centre in a serious but stable condition.
