A Nottinghamshire Muslim is on trial for helping a 17-year-old Cardiff boy leave the UK to join fighters in Syria.
Adeel Ulhaq, 20, pleaded not guilty to terrorism charges at a hearing at the Old Bailey.
He appeared on videolink alongside Kristen Brekke, 19, of Grangetown, Cardiff, and Forehead Rahman, 20, of Cirencester.
The three muslims are all charged with preparation of terrorist acts with the intention of assisting an individual - who cannot be named for legal reasons - to commit acts of terrorism.
Mr Ulhaq is also charged with entering into or becoming concerned in a terrorist funding arrangement.
Mr Ulhaq was arrested during a search of his home on Westbourne Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, on June 5 last year.
It followed a joint investigation by Nottinghamshire Police and the North East Counter Terrorism Unit.
The three men will next appear at the Old Bailey on June 25 for a four-week trial.
What is this scum doing in OUR country? Carry on voting for LibLabConUkipGreen and nothing will change.
