Detectives investigating are now asking for witnesses to come forward.
The alleged assault took place in Craven Road between 8pm and 8.30pm on October 4.
Two men – Anees Syed, 22, of Randal Gardens, Nottingham, and Atheeq Syed, 26, of Bobbersmill Road, Nottingham – have been arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm.
Officers believe there are other witnesses to what took place who have not yet come forward.
