British
National Party Councillor Clive Jefferson appeared at Liverpool magistrates
court yesterday following his arrest on Wednesday 9th May by Liverpool
Metropolitan Police for handing out leaflets in front of Liverpool Crown
Court during the trial of nine members of Muslim paedophile
gangs.
Cllr Jefferson pleaded 'not guilty' to charges
and the case was was adjourned until 10th September.

Despite the pouring rain, over forty supporters
turned out in support of Cllr Jefferson in this, the latest challenge in
our Fight for Freedom.
Why
was Councillor Jefferson arrested?
Cllr Jefferson was arrested because the police
are increasingly taking draconian measures to destroy free speech and the
political freedoms that the British people have fought for generations to
secure.
He has been charged with the laughable and
trumped up charge of leaving the designated place of protest
during a demo.
He is defending his case on the grounds that
British citizens have the absolute right to have, hold, and distribute
political literature without interference from local authority:
It took five officers to force the stout
Cumbrian, who is registered disabled, into the back of the police van, and
as they did, he threw the remaining leaflets that he had in his hand over
the officers' shoulders.
Desperate to get glimpse of the 'offensive
material' that the political police had deemed unfit for public
consumption, members of the public broke through the police barricade to
get their hands on a copy.
