British National Party polling at 7% in London - polling in third place!

As nominations open in the Greater London Assembly and Mayoral election, a poll on “This is London”, a news site for over forty local papers in the capital, the British National Party’s Mayoral candidate, Carlos Cortiglia, is polling an incredible 7% of the vote ahead of the Lib Dems, Green, UKIP, and Independent candidates. (We only need 5% to win our GLA seat!)
The poll is linked below. Please register your vote today.

I will point out that until we published this poll, there has been no campaign to have our supporters vote in this poll and although this is an online poll and not scientific, it is a tremendous indicator that we are indeed on target in this campaign.
Defend democracy in the London elections
Can you remember all the fuss about the elections in Russia? The UK media claimed that opposition candidates weren’t given fair coverage  and were excluded from debate. It was said that the election wasn’t fair as voters weren’t given the opportunity to hear from all sides.
Our Chairman, Nick Griffin observed the elections in Russia and said they were fairer than UK ones! So far the GLA elections are proving him right. In London the British National Party is fighting for seats on the GLA and putting Carlos Cortiglia forward for Mayor. We can already see attempts to rig the election by looking at the hustings meetings planned by various groups.
Hustings are meant to be an opportunity to hear from all the candidates. The agenda of the Political Class is very different: to promote LibLabCon and a token Green ‘alternative’. All other candidates are to be denied a platform. This is the sham democracy we live under in the UK.
The message from the establishment media is that only their chosen four are worth voting for. Other candidates are not worthy of consideration. The public are being given an illusion of choice – a refined and subtle totalitarianism.
The British National Party objects to the exclusion of our candidate for Mayor, Carlos but we also denounce the exclusion of other candidates like the Independents and UKIP.  Whether people support UKIP, the independent candidates or just democracy they should join our protest.
We are confident that Carlos would hold his own in any debate with the four establishment stooges. It seems that they are not so confident in debating with him.
We want to challenge all attempts to deny the public real information and a real choice. This is about whether or not you support the British National Party. It is about whether you want to live in a democracy or not.
The London Evening Standard has organised a hustings meeting for Wednesday, April 11 where the platform will consist only of the LibLabCon and token Green. They curiously designate these as the ‘main’ candidates before any poll has taken place.
We urge you to contact both the venue and newspaper to protest at their anti-democratic stance. Tell them that you will be considering joining a protest outside if Carlos Cortiglia and other candidates (including Independents and UKIP) are not allowed a platform.
Point out that at the last elections in 2008 the BNP won a seat and demonstrated a significant degree of electoral support.

PS: We have paid the £25,000 deposit and our nominations have been checked and officially accepted, the fight is on.  I would like to thank everyone personally who donated to the GLA deposit campaign.
We are now raising money for 500,000 specially produced GLA newspapers
to be printed and distributed in London, so we need a second urgent
fundraising drive NOW! We are “in it” but now we need to
“win it”

Please donate if you can, and help spread our message of hope.
